Occasionally I write to the children and send it to their email account which they will be given one day when they are older- perhaps when they are sent off to college. This morning sweet Jada and I had one of those simple but precious conversations, and in the quiet of the morning I was reminded again (thank you Lord!) to cherish these moments of vibrant life that I get to experience with my family. What a gift to see the Lord at work in them.
Sweet Jada – the Lord is at work in your heart. It is so beautiful to watch. This morning, Malachi is asleep in his crib and your amazing daddy and sisters went to get us some Saturday morning donuts. While straightening your room together and making beds (3 of them all in a row! ) you asked, “Mom, is the world ever going to end?” and we spoke of how one day this world will end when our Jesus returns. We spoke of how important it is to believe in Him and rest in the Gospel – living our days, our moments for Him – letting Him do His beautiful work in us. And yes, praise the Lord that one day this broken, messy world will end and the beautiful hope that one day, one day – there will be no more sickness, or crying or mourning or pain….I can’t wait! How I love you so Jada Love – it is so lovely to see God at work in you, precious one. Love, Mama
He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:4
