We’ve been working hard this past week to get our family settled into our new home. And, let me tell you, we are loving it! But boy are we tired. When you have a pregnant woman and 3 kids in the picture, moving gets interesting, but we’ve been trying to enjoy it all as it unfolds and our hearts are grateful for God’s constant and sure provision for our family. Since so many of you are dying for some pictures, here is a sneak peak. We are still working on some of the rooms but here are some pictures to wet your appetite a bit. And, what better way than to start off with our “old” house and the memories of packing it all up?
And now, come on in to our “new” 80 year old home tucked away in downtown Augusta…
The room where Kev’s future study will be!
Dining room where we hope to enjoy some good company for dinner!
Our “coffee house” living room (yes, Kev chose the paint color called “coffee” surprising eh?)
with eat-in breakfast nook
and built-in cabinets/storage!
curtains I’ve been working on (note our cute little storage shed in the back yard)
and now, we go upstairs…
A and J’s bedroom
Master bedroom which opens up to a roof-top balcony…
Where Kev and I dream of many early morning cups of coffee together 🙂
Back downstairs to the “school” room/sewing room
Which leads to the deck
as well as the yard!
Like I said, more pics to come. We are still working on Ellie’s room (and waiting to first find out what baby #4 will be just in case we get a little blue in the mix!) as well as Kevin’s study. We still may have a bit of painting left as well (depending on what our tired bodies allow!) Other than that, it’s feeling like home more and more everyday! Come by for a visit…
