Jesus said in Matthew 11, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
We are husband and wife(and pastor and pastor’s wife) – and shepherds to the 3 most beautiful little girls in the world: Ashtyn Grace, Jada Love and Elliana Joy. We just welcomed a precious baby BOY, Malachi Peace, to our family 5 months ago. We are all laboring for Jesus in a simple, communal kind of way. Our desire is to love people with gentle and lowly hearts and to be a sweet aroma of Christ to those He brings our way while we travel through this world awaiting our home in heaven.
It is our prayer that this blog will bring rest to your traveling souls as we seek to integrate life and faith and how all of it together points to the worship of our great God.

One small thing I have found to take some pressure off of my life is learning not to answer the phone just because it is ringing. I have come to see that to some degree this compulsion to feel like I need to be available whenever anyone asks is a pride issue. I’m really not that important. (:
